The Lorde of the Ring film site. Putangirua Pinnacles, NZ

Hi everyone! Today we are at the Putangirua Pinnacles, New Zealand. It's an amazing place filled with a lot of exploring and adventure. If you are in NZ and looking for an easy hike with views, definitely stop by here. You will love it! You can see why Peter Jackson used this spot for the Paths of the Dead sense in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King movie.

You start the hike at the DOC campsite parking lot. And if you stay here overnight like did, you are able to see so many stars at night! The track follows the river bed and It's about a 30 to 45min walk to the Pinnacles. You can also go left from the start of the track and hike up the hill to see the view from the top. But you can still go up the river bed and turn to a track that leads you to the top like I elected to do.

As always, you can check out my video on this amazing place on my YouTube page.
