252 steps to the top of Cape Palliser Lighthouse.

It's a nice climb to the top, where there you will be treated with spectacular views of the cape and the lighthouse. The drive there is not far from Wellington CBD, about 2 hours. It's a beautiful drive along the coast. Just before the road end at the lighthouse, to the right, you will see the seal colony.

Do bring a jacket, as it can get quite windy up there. I had issues with the wind as I was taking photos. But that is all part of landscape photography. 🙂

Check out the final photo and vlog on my YouTube channel.

Cape Palliser Lighthouse, New Zealand

Cape Palliser (1 of 1).jpg
Today we travel to Cape Palliser and climb 252 sets to see the view from the top. It's a bit out of the way, but it's a must-see. The view from the top is AMAZING! It's the Southernmost point of the North Island of New Zealand. Visit Cape Palliser Lighthouse.

So it begins... Landscape photography

So I finally begin a new journey into landscape photography on YouTube. I have always taken photos since I picked up my first camera. But recording my travels and telling a story is all new to me. My first video has gone up, and I know I have a bit more to learn about filmmaking. But I'm excited and ready to show off New Zealand like never before with the help of my camera, Mavic Air drone and editing software like Premiere Pro to tie it all together.

Please join me on YouTube, as I travel all over New Zealand and the world!

EPISODE 01 takes us to Porangahau Beach, New Zealand. I will be going to different parts of NZ and showing you photos you can capture and places you can visit that you may not have thought of. This trip was taken last year when I was thinking of vlogging my trips.
